Product concept, highlights and added value

1. Taste Innovation: Tomato is a key flavor in the non-spicy hot pot category, and facing intense competition with highly homogeneous products, our brand strives to create innovative and consumer-driven products. Through interviews with over 50 tomato hot pot enthusiasts, it was found that mainstream products in the market often have an overly intense tomato sauce flavor. On the other hand, in restaurant hot pot bases, many use fresh tomatoes to enhance the freshness of the broth, making it more palatable. Therefore, the idea of creating a product that retains the rich flavor of tomato hot pot while adding the aroma and taste of fresh tomatoes was born. To make the freshness more visible, the product design incorporates particles of fresh tomatoes.

2. Health Upgrade: The zero addition of preservatives in the soup base series is another major highlight of this product upgrade. The fresh tomato soup base, besides being used for hot pot, can also be used for making soups, cooking noodles, and preparing various dishes. The absence of preservatives allows consumers to enjoy the soup with peace of mind, ensuring a balance between health and deliciousness.

Please briefly describe how your product communicates with consumers

During the pre-launch blind testing process with consumers, we were thrilled to discover that many participants could spontaneously mention keywords such as "fresh," "tastes like childhood tomatoes," "delicious soup," and "contains tomato particles." This once again confirms that the upgrade to the fresh tomato soup base meets consumer needs and brings about category innovation.

As a result, in our communication of the core benefits of the product, we emphasize that the addition of fresh tomatoes is over 50%, and the soup contains visible tomato particles, providing a taste that is not only experienced but also seen.

During the initial promotion period of the new product launch, we organized tasting hot pot events featuring the fresh tomato soup base in major supermarket systems. Customers were offered the boiled soup to taste, and the product was warmly received, particularly by children and parents.
