According to the "Guidelines for Obesity Prevention and Control of Chinese Residents" and the report on global metabolic diseases published by The Lancet: The overweight/obesity rate among people aged 30-50 in China is as high as 53.6% (59.3% for men and 47.8% for women), with the proportion of central obesity (excessive waist circumference) exceeding 65%. The Ufun team has identified that the increasing obesity problem among people aged 30+ is mainly due to insufficient immunity leading to metabolic imbalance. Traditional fat-loss probiotics generally only focus on regulating the intestinal barrier, increasing energy consumption, and reducing fat deposition, etc., without addressing the deep-seated needs of consumers for fat loss. The Ufun team innovatively proposed the research and development concept of "immunity + slimming". We add directional cultivated Cordyceps militaris powder to the probiotics, which integrating anti-inflammatory immune function with fat loss needs and meeting consumers' advanced pursuit of improving immunity and weight management. It redefines fat-reducing probiotics.
During the product development process, we placed great emphasis on the innovation and effectiveness of the product. We adopted the formula concept of "Medicinal and food homologous formulation + Patented imported probiotics", and finally selected the directional cultivated Cordyceps militaris(with each piece containing 3000μg cordycepin) and two relatively authoritative imported strains (B420 + CECT8145), as well as compounded with hawthorn and Chenpi. We also conducted experiments jointly with a well-known university in Zhejiang Province. The experimental results confirmed that the product samples have improved effects on the weight and visceral fat of mice, and can increase the abundance of Akkermansia muciniphila in the body.
