Design Story
Mighty has accessed to the flavoring market, combining ingredients from different regions to create specific flavors. Our sesame oil series can be divided into two kinds according to customers’ different usage scenarios. As we have “Dripping” sesame oil that is more suitable for fluid dishes and “Stirring” sesame oil that fits solid food more. Mighty zanthoxylum oil is made from zanthoxylum from Hanyuan, and are divided into various classes according to customers’ different favour of tingly sensation. We also have another zanthoxylum oil, made from zanthoxylum from Hongya, which retains the original flavor and smells more richer. The patterns on the bottles are inspired by the cement tile and paper-cut for window decoration of historical buildings, which were all the rage and the symbol of aesthetics and fortune.The patterns make bottles more noble and elegant. Our exclusive shape of glass bottles varies from the existing packages of same sorts of products. Besides, we choose shrink films as the material of labels, which improves the texture and gains the consumers’ preference.

There are many ways to obtain sesame oil, one of it is the sesame seeds was directly squeezed to aquire the edible sesame oil. The other is sesame seeds was squeezed by stone mill.Rattan pepper oil and Chinese pepper oil were extracted by immersion

1. Our independently-designed glass bottles, which have cut surfaces like diamonds, have solved the problem of the lack of innovation in bottle designing of seasoning oil. Also, our bottles are easy to hold and pour with one hand. 2. Traditional labels have little printing area and are not environment-friendly. Our labels are all made of shrink films that can broaden the printing area and are easier to recycle.
What functional designs of the work have enhanced the user experience?
1. Our labels have easy-to-tear lines near the bottle neck, so customers can open it conveniently. 2. There are scale lines on our labels that consumer can know how much content is left in the bottles.
Did the design help increase the sales performance of the product?
Our unique glass bottles with cut surfaces like diamonds can catch consumers’ eyes. Besides, our classification of different tastes and usage scenarios shows our comprehensive care for customers in every detail.
Does the work consider sustainability (environmentally or commercially, or both)?
Traditional labels on glass bottles of flavouring oil use paper-plastic compound labels, which must be stuck on the bottles and are difficult to tear off, so how to recycle traditional labels is a trouble - they need specific chemical reagents during recycling process. Our products use labels made of shrink films. Therefore, after the content is used up, consumers just need to tear the label off, which is a much easier way to recycle.
