Design Story

1664 Prestige is a beer designed for Chinese consumers seeking elevated moments in their everyday lives. It fills the gap between extravagant champagnes and ordinary beers, offering a product that introduces a sense of ritual and flexibility. Brewed with champagne yeast and housed in a sleek bottle, it exudes French sophistication while providing a surprising twist in taste. Through bold graphical illustrations, it invites consumers to experience the joy and imagination of everyday life in the spirit of joie de vivre.

Highlights

Instead of “big occasions”, China consumers are increasingly celebrating little joys in their everyday lives. Champagnes seem too extravagant for the everyday while beers do not satisfy the needs for special moments.
They needed a product that introduces a sense of ritual, exercises the flexibility to be enjoyed on any occasion, and brings a spontaneous spark to the ordinary everyday.
