Design Story
Hellenic Routes was born from a desire to capture the soul of Greece in a single object. Olive oil has been at the heart of Greek civilization for centuries, nourishing people both physically and culturally. We wanted the design to reflect this deep connection—not just as packaging, but as a living piece of history.
The inspiration comes from Greek mythology, ancient traditions, and the journey of olive oil through time. The Hermes stamp represents communication and travel, reminding us that olive oil has been a messenger of civilization since antiquity. The bottle, like a travel book, tells the story of the small producers, the sun-soaked olives, and the land that gives birth to them. Every detail encourages the consumer to see, feel, and experience Greek heritage in a meaningful way.
Highlights
The most impressive part of our work is our ability to transform a simple object into a profound experience. Hellenic Routes is not just a bottle of olive oil—it is a journey through history, mythology, and tradition. Every element, from the postage stamp seal to the depiction of Hermes, has been carefully chosen to tell a story. Our design doesn’t just package a product; it invites the consumer to connect with Greece’s cultural heritage. The way we blend symbolism, craftsmanship, and sensory storytelling makes our work truly unique and memorable.

Craft
The creation of Hellenic Routes involves a delicate fusion of tradition, artistry, and precision technology. The stamped seal, inspired by Greece’s first postage stamp, is crafted using high-quality embossing techniques, giving it a tactile, collectible feel. The bottle’s design is minimalist yet deeply symbolic, making it an object to be cherished long after its contents are gone.
Each bottle is filled with premium olive oil sourced from Greece’s most treasured varieties, produced through cold-extraction methods that preserve its purest flavors and nutrients. The colors of the Hermes stamp change to indicate different olive oil varieties, adding a dynamic element to the design.
Beyond aesthetics, the bottle is designed with sustainability in mind, encouraging users to refill and reuse—extending the journey rather than ending it. The process of manufacturing balances handcrafted elegance with innovative techniques, ensuring that every element, from the materials to the finishing details, maintains the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
