Design Story
Background: In the bottled water market, the mainstream retail price range is gradually transitioning from 2 yuan to 3 yuan. As China's earliest mineral water and major national event water, Laoshan mineral water has a product line gap in this price range. In order to enrich its product line and enhance its market competitiveness, Laoshan Mineral Water Company launched Laoshan 1900 mineral water.
Design concept: Laoshan mineral water was born in 1900. In order to differentiate it from the existing product line and enhance its brand value and historical significance, we have chosen "Laoshan 1900" as the product name. Water is the source of life, nourishing all living things in nature. We have incorporated the life texture of plants into the bottle body, reflecting the natural balance and cycle. The active state of mineral water from nature is reflected in the bottom of the bottle, representing the original and pure water source. At the same time, we have extracted the elegant contours of women to create a transparent and beautiful bottle shape.
Highlights
Resembling the graceful curves of the human body, the overall design is minimalist, with a long neck that exudes elegance and highlights high-end quality. The leaf-patterned bottle adds a natural elegance and enhances the tactile experience, making it ideal for hand-holding. The label, featuring a simple circular design with adhesive stickers on both sides, not only highlights the product series name but also reinforces the brand endorsement. The bottle body and label are close to the mountain rain green color, emphasizing the brand philosophy and product attributes of nature, naturalness, and health. Laoshan 1900 adopts a calligraphic style and UV technology to highlight the product series name and national brand genes, conveying the indisputable fact that the brand originated in 1900 and is China's first mineral water bottle. The brand claim on the bottle label, "Laoshan mineral water, naturally nourishing," highlights the difference between this product and ordinary bottled water, which mainly focuses on quenching thirst.
Market Performance
Since its official launch in 2025, it has received unanimous praise from both distributors and end-users, and has been selling well in retail outlets. It is evaluated as a 3-yuan water product that resembles 5-yuan water in terms of appearance and water quality, supporting Laoshan mineral water's expansion from the regional market to the national market. In the months since its launch, more than a hundred distributors have chosen to distribute this product, and the market feedback has been positive.

It belongs to the strontium-metasilicic acid type of drinking natural mineral water. The bottle label adopts double-sided adhesive stickers, which not only highlights the product series name but also enhances brand endorsement. Laoshan 1900 adopts UV technology to highlight the product series name and the national brand genes.
