Design Story
In the screen era, where eye care needs have surged and traditional products suffer from homogenization, the market urgently requires eye care packaging that embodies scientific, natural, and emotional value. The design follows the dual concept of "Natural Empowerment + Self-Acceptance." The main visual combines the brand logo (a petal-shaped variation of the Chinese character for "light" with a beam penetrating through) and the emotional symbol "I Deserve," conveying the messages of "light nourishing life" and "loving beauty and health." The color scheme builds a visual language through shades of green, symbolizing both nature and technology while evoking a sense of health and reassurance, thereby breaking away from the cold, rigid impression of traditional nutritional supplements. The overall design emphasizes making natural science perceptible and self-care tangible, aligning with the product's advantage of addressing eye issues at their root and conveying the value proposition that "everyone deserves to be gently guarded by nature and science, blooming with healthy beauty."
Highlights
Core Memorable Highlights
1.High-Recognition Symbol with Strong Color Association – The unique "light-character petal" logo, integrated with a natural green color system, creates a powerful cognitive anchor where "seeing the symbol instantly evokes natural eye care."
2.Emotionally Integrated Design – The "I Deserve" emotional symbol is visually merged with product functionality, achieving a brand elevation "from eye care function to a self-appreciating lifestyle."
Differentiated Value
1.Triple-Sensory Empowerment – Through the three-dimensional construction of symbol recognition × color emotion × concept resonance, brand perception is enhanced beyond the single-functional messaging of traditional products.
2.Visualization of Scientific Trust – The innovative "natural green authority module" design transforms scientific endorsements into perceptible visual language, establishing dual trust in "natural aesthetics × scientific rigor."
3.Flexible Modular Structure – The package contains three independent inner boxes, each of which can be sold separately as trial kits or gifts. The individual blister packaging further enhances portability for on-the-go use.

1. Printing Process
Gravure printing is utilized to accurately reproduce the nuanced gradients of the green color system, ensuring smooth details such as the "petal lines" and "beam gradients" of the logo. Key areas of the logo are enhanced with spot UV coating, adding dimensionality and tactile texture. This mature and stable process, widely adopted in food packaging, supports mass production effectively.
2. Anti-Counterfeiting Process
The scratch-off silver coating process is employed to enable "scratch-to-verify" functionality. The silver layer covers the green anti-counterfeit code area and is paired with white instructional text. This method ensures even adhesion, easy removal, and protection of the underlying printed information. Widely used in food and health product packaging, the technology is reliable and proven.
3. Box-Opening Structure Process
Two convenient opening methods are designed:
(1)Easy-Tear Notch: A dark green pre-cut dashed line is positioned on the side, accompanied by a white "Easy Tear" indicator. Precision pre-cutting ensures controlled tearing without damaging the package.
(2)Snap-Seal Closure: A transparent snap closure is made using injection molding, with mini logo imprints on the edges. This design allows smooth, reusable sealing. Both structural solutions leverage well-established techniques in the packaging industry, ensuring strong feasibility and practicality.
Does the design solve the problems that are common across the product category? If so, please explain.
In comparable products, issues such as cluttered information hierarchy, homogenized visual symbols, and inconvenient usage are prevalent.
To address these problems, we have implemented systematic solutions:
- Innovatively designed the "light-character petal beam" brand symbol to establish a unique visual identity system.
- Developed a hierarchical color scheme centered on green, reinforcing associations with natural health.
- Integrated an anti-counterfeiting code area to enhance product credibility.
- Employed easy-tear notches and snap-seal closures to improve user experience.
- Specially designed individual blister packaging, with each blister containing a single daily dose, ensuring hygiene, portability, and effectively preventing gel candies from sticking together.
What functional designs of the work have enhanced the user experience?
- The outer packaging prominently features the brand and product name, while the inner packaging modularly presents ingredient information, team credentials, and key data, enhancing the efficiency of information retrieval.
- The packaging employs individually sealed blister packs, making it suitable for both on-the-go and at-home use scenarios.
- The anti-counterfeiting module uses clear visual contrast to reinforce trust perception.
- The brand symbol integrates the "light-character petal" design with the "I Deserve" emotional message, paired with evocative copywriting to convey vitality and self-identity.
- Overall, the design establishes high recognizability through its green color system and distinctive symbols, while its slim and sealed structure suits various display and storage environments, balancing practical convenience with emotional resonance.
Did the design help increase the sales performance of the product? If so, please give related evidence.
None.
Does the work consider sustainability (environmentally or commercially, or both)? If so, please explain.
- The inner packaging utilizes food-grade PVC blister packs. While PVC is a conventional material, it benefits from an established recycling system (with PVC material sorting and recycling available in certain regions). The blister structure is precisely tailored to hold individual gel candies, allowing for hygienic, portion-controlled access while preventing contamination and extending product freshness.
- The outer packaging is made from recyclable cardboard, aligning with the eco-friendly trend in paper-based packaging. Through lightweight design (controlled grammage), material usage is minimized without compromising packaging strength, achieving a balance between durability and sustainability.
