Design Story

In the tea beverage delivery sector, traditional packaging relies on separate cup holders to secure drinks, presenting common challenges: high procurement costs for cup holders, cumbersome packing procedures, and significant storage space requirements. Additionally, limited cooling performance restricts delivery ranges. This project addresses the industry's need for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and enhanced customer experience by developing a tea delivery bag featuring a “cup-holder-free structure + aluminum foil material.” This innovation resolves common industry challenges of cost and efficiency while elevating the consumer experience through material upgrades.

1. Full-chain cost reduction: Innovative cup-free patented structure streamlines material usage and packaging steps, achieving a 22% overall cost reduction and fewer packaging procedures.
2. Freshness preservation revolution: Aluminum foil material reflects 97% of thermal radiation, delivering approximately 10% better cooling/heating retention than traditional non-woven bags. This effectively expands delivery ranges and enhances quality stability.
3. Dual Functionality & ESG Benefits: Utilizes low-carbon aluminum foil (reducing emissions by ~30% compared to industry peers, aligning with ESG principles) + “infant formula-grade” safe materials. Provides 100% light-blocking freshness preservation and leak-proofing, prolonging beverage flavor retention while practicing sustainability.

Utilizing an aluminum-leak printing process to accentuate the metallic texture of aluminum foil, with localized lamination techniques to create visual contrast. Custom molds are employed during bag manufacturing to achieve dual-chamber construction and stand-up functionality.

This solution addresses the limitations of traditional takeout bags, such as inadequate insulation, reliance on additional cup holders that increase costs and time, severe packaging homogenization, and lack of brand value enhancement. Through dual innovation in materials and structure, it achieves a balance between functionality, cost, and aesthetics. The use of localized composite material design optimizes costs while creating visual differentiation.
