Amos Ma was born in 1970 in Xinning County, Hunan Province. In 1989, he was admitted to the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation at the School of Economics, Yunnan University, having been the top liberal arts student in Xinning County. In 2004, he founded Amos Food Group, where he currently serves as chairman.

With 21 years of dedicated experience in the confectionery industry, Mr. Amos Ma has led Amos Foods Group to rank 65th among the Global Top 100 Candy Companies. The company has also obtained three major global export food certifications: BRC-A, ISO 22000, and HACCP, earning the reputation of "a food enterprise with a world passport".

Mr. Amos Ma has received widespread recognition for his innovations and corporate management in the confectionery industry. In 2024, he was inducted into the National Confectionery Hall of Fame, becoming the first Chinese recipient of this honor in history. His accolades include:
