Maggie Wang is currently Vice President, RD&Q with responsibility for leadership of Asia Pacific biscuit category. She leads a team with responsibility for development and technical support across AP region includes China, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Australia and so on. Also, she provides geographic leadership to Packaging Quality, SARAN, Gum & Candy, Beverage, Analytical and Consumer Science in China.

Maggie has over 20 years’ experience in food Industry and held a variety of positions ranging from Procurement, Manufacturing and R&D in the companies of United Biscuit, Nabisco Biscuit, Kraft Foods and Mondelez International. As the Assistant Manager in Manufacturing, she contributed to establish a new snack plant and managed the production shifts and logistic service. About a decade ago, she moved to R&DQ and progress her career from a junior manager to an executive role. As the Director of RD&Q in China, she made remarkable strategies and led the successful implementation both on innovation and food safety and quality for a fast growing business in China. Maggie led to launch a number of significant new products to strengthen the brand value, such as Oreo Wafer Chocolate Bar, Pacific Wholegrain Cookie etc. in China and in 2011, she led the successful launch of OREO in India market as regional R&D head of category team in Kraft Foods. While delivering top tier financial performance, Maggie also created a great place to work by establishing the biggest R&D center in Asia Pacific region in Suzhou. She built a strong and passionate RD&Q team with professionals across categories and scientific areas.

Maggie holds a Bachelor Degree of Food Science and Technology from Nanjing Agriculture University and after that she was qualified in the EMBA course from University of Texas Arlington in USA.
