Victor ZHANG co-founded GenBridge Capital in 2016. With over a decade of private equity investment experience in the consumer sector in China, he has invested in and empowered new generation consumer champions such as Shiyue Daotian, Qiandama, Busy For You, Guoquan, and New Joy. He is one of the most active investors in the community retail chain in China, with a deep understanding of trends, competitive dynamics, and practical strategies in the Chinese retail industry. He has rich experience in strategic planning, digital operations, supply chain upgrading, and organizational support, providing unique support to key enterprises in which he invests.

Before co-founding GenBridge Capital in 2016, he worked at JD.com's investment department, CICC Capital, and Fortune Venture Capital. Victor has been awarded several honors by China's top financial media, such as "The Most Influential Investor of the Year" by the 21st Century Business Herald as well as "The Best Investor in the Consumer Sector" by Huxiu.com

Victor holds a Bachelor of Science from Peking University and an EMBA from China Europe International Business School.
