Hyperglycemia is the most prevalent chronic condition today. According to the 2021IDF Global Diabetes Map (10th Edition), the incidence of diabetes in China has increased by 56% from 2000 to the present! According to the Report on Nutrition and Chronic Disease Status of Chinese Residents (2020), the prevalence of diabetes among residents aged 18 and above in China is 11.9%. Diabetes prevention and treatment programs in various countries, diet control is the most important way. The taste, low glycemic properties and reasonable price are the prerequisites for the popularization of sugar-control foods. Taste and price are precisely the pain points that the so-called sugar-control food is difficult to solve.
The R&D team of Slow Food has utilized its proprietary intellectual property rights to process low-glycemic raw materials and transformed a series of traditional high-glycemic snacks and treats. This Slow Sugar Meat Floss Twist, innovatively utilizes the flourless and sugarless Slow Sugar Powder raw materials to replace traditional flour, avoiding the rapid glycemic rise of fast-digesting carbohydrates in the body; with the sugarless chicken meat floss, the whole product meets the national standard of sugarless; in addition, the compound dietary fiber in the raw materials can lock the fat and reduce the excessive calories brought by fat.
