Product concept, highlights and added value
No need to raise cows, enzymatic processing does it better!
To achieve this goal, we conducted a survey on plant-based milk products in the foodservice channel within the Chinese market.
1.Most products contain around 1.0g/100ml of protein and rely on single plant sources such as oats, coconut, or almonds. This results in unbalanced nutrition, particularly due to the lack of balance in the eight essential amino acids, leading to low nutritional value.
2.A quality café latte requires dense milk foam and the ability to create latte art. However, most plant-based milks struggle to match the texture and mouthfeel of cow's milk, significantly restricting their use in freshly made beverages and baked goods, as well as hindering innovation in these areas.
In response to the growing trends of health consciousness and environmental sustainability, the Delthin R&D team invested two years into developing a milk-like plant-based product with the following key features:
1.Protein content and biological value comparable to cow's milk: By equipping our facilities with advanced multi-plant ingredient processing equipment and technologies, we achieved the fresh processing and blending of diverse plant-based ingredients. This overcomes the limitations of essential amino acids in plant proteins, resulting in a product with a similar amino acid profile to cow’s milk and significantly higher protein content (addressing the typical 1% protein limitation in plant-based milks).
2.Excellent frothing performance: A well-balanced protein-to-fat ratio, combined with a two-stage grinding and three-stage homogenization process, produces particle sizes below 20µm. This ensures outstanding frothing performance and latte art capabilities similar to those of cow’s milk.
3.Rich flavour and creamy texture: The sweetness of grains, the richness of nuts, and the body of legumes and grains combine to create a unique and full-bodied "milk aroma" with a creamy texture and well-rounded flavour.
4.Contains No Milk Whatsoever: Made entirely from plant-based ingredients, this product contains no lactose or cholesterol, making it ideal for individuals with lactose intolerance or those following a low-cholesterol diet.

By creating innovative beverage solutions, such as tea and coffee recipes, it enables versatile applications. Notably, to complement the bold and spicy characteristics of hot pot, the Nutrient-rich plant milk was used to develop the innovative "Ultra-Cooling Fluffy Ice." This creation won the 2024 Chongqing Hotpot Festival’s “Hotpot Fashion Dessert Award” and the “Hotpot Sweet Beverage Potential Bestseller Award.”
