With the goal of creating cheese snacks that appeal to Chinese consumers and offering an affordable luxury alternative, the founder of Sherlock launched the "Flavor Discovery Plan." He traveled across three countries and nine cities, venturing far to Europe, the birthplace of cheese, in search of the secrets of delicious cheese.

Returning to his hometown, Chaoshan, a culinary paradise located on the South China Sea with abundant seafood resources, the founder found inspiration in the unique fish skin dumplings that are a testament to the Chaoshanese's pursuit of culinary excellence. As a local Chaoshan enterprise, Sherlock drew inspiration from fish skin dumplings and, after countless rounds of research and innovative adjustments, replaced the fish used in traditional fish skin dumplings with more nutritious Alaskan deep-sea cod. They wrapped a variety of flavors in a single fish skin, using fish skin to enclose a filling made mainly of New Zealand cream cheese, and added lemon juice to cleverly balance the richness of the cheese. Combined with Italian vacuum boiling technology, the outer skin becomes bouncy and chewy, while the filling has a consistency as creamy and soft as ice cream, with a rich and creamy texture. This gave birth to the healthy and nutritious Cod Cheese Slices.

In terms of product packaging design, we have deeply insights into the demands and aesthetic preferences of contemporary young consumers for exquisite snacks, and we also anticipate a unique sense of ritual when opening the box. The Cod Cheese Slices come in a drawer-style box design, where a gentle push reveals the premium quality of the cheese. The unique "cod" cut-out shape on the sleeve, with the triangular fish tail echoing the classic holes in cheese, complemented by the fish patterns and cheese hole elements printed inside the box, vividly conveys the core concept of "Cod Cheese." The illustrations of lemon and cheese on the card add visual interest and taste associations, bringing a distinctive detailed experience. In terms of color use, the collision between silver-gray and dopamine colors perfectly balances the appetite appeal of the product with the trendy tone of the brand.
