Company Introduction
BioCatSyn was established in 2022 under the leadership of Professor Dongzhi Wei, who previously founded the Lu Hua Biotechnology Research Institute at East China University of Science and Technology. The company is built on three mature and leading technology platforms—enzyme and biocatalysis, microbial cell factories and bioconversion, and process engineering—with the aim of becoming an international forefront green biomanufacturing solution or product development platform.
The headquarters are located in Shanghai . The company operates a 2,000-square-meter R&D and pilot-scale facility. BioCatSyn manufacturing plant is situated in Jiangsu, covering 90 acres (60,000 square meters) and features a 15,000-square-meter production complex comprising fermentation, downstream processing, refining, and GMP rooms.
