Design Story

To enhancing the overall brand vision and creating a trustworthy brand image, while meeting the aesthetic preferences of young consumers. BENWEI’s new packaging design is divided into two parts to achieve this goal: The diamond shaped gold label in the middle shows the position of the premium meat products. The graphic is taken from the diamond shape in the brand logo. And refined the percentage of meat products, , to reduce the decision-making threshold of consumers; The background pattern follows the concept of "The art of touching taste bud ", displaying the texture and sense of black truffle and Japanese beef through the marble pattern.

Highlights

The diamond gold standard system in the middle of the package strongly shows the percentage of the meat to help consumers make decisions, and the whole series are unified. It's so easy to recognize BENWEI from a lot of products since the the visual impulse and brand recognition are strong. The "Finding Inspiration" card increases the customer's interactive experience, in which the source of raw materials improves the sense of trust and value of products, and the recipes from xiaohongshu bloggers make customers feel respected.

Does the design solve the problems that are common across the product category?

Frozen sausage packaging on the market is usually very traditional and difficult to get rid of the impression of low quality and unhealthy meat sausage. Some new designs are too young and trendy, which lose the trust of big brands needed by families and senior consumers, who are important audiences of mass consumer goods. BENWEI's package design uses diamond gold standard system and background pattern to balance quality, trust and high fashion appetite.

What functional designs of the work have enhanced the user experience?

In order to increase the sense of user co-creation, BENWEI put in the product packaging box the recipe drawing and production method of BENWEI products published by authorized users on their social networks. In this way, users can find a sense of identity in BENWEI products, and at the same time, new users can quickly fall in love with BENWEI's products through these easy-to-learn cooking methods.
