Design Story

Since entering the instant food market, Akuan has made a name and occupied its market share. It then entrusted us with upgrading and shaping its brand to improve its competitiveness and expand the market. Through insight into young people's consumer needs and visual preferences, we created a more unified and exclusive visual branding sets for Akuan. We strengthened the brand equity in visual design, refined the Chinese character"宽(the "kuan" in "Akuan")" for optimised application, and created a brand super symbol. Furthermore, we changed the original brand image cognition by choosing a colour system through more youthful and fashionable colour matching. These, while realising product identity, maximise the brand attitude, eliminate the sense of separation between brand style and product packaging, and make the branding sets systematic and holistic.

Highlights

For Akuan's brand upgrade, we align more with young consumers' cognition for brand identity when building up the super symbol, increasing memory points and exclusivity based on the original brand equity. In addition, the reshaping of brand characters and brand attitudes, as a solution to consumers' emotional appeals and consumption cognitions towards the brand, stimulates the purchasing desire of potential consumers while improving the trust of existing audiences.
