Design Story

Under the trend of "big health", the healthy ingredients of beverages received great value. For Super Deneng, a new series of the well-known beverage company Jianlibao, we expected to create a unique packaging vision as a hot-selling. We renewed the style of the original products by inpouring a sense of health and technology to better suit the audience's aesthetics and the product ingredient features, creating an exclusive and recognisable packaging for it with super symbol designs. In the visual design, we extracted the "+" symbol in the brand name to create a brand super symbol and, with a layout of the tiler and multiply,maximised the symbol recognition. The packaging colour system incorporates a sense of technology and sports, which effectively increases shelf identity and variation, strengthens the product's capacity of scene adaptation, and combines sports scenes with targeting the office workers, occupying the vertical market, making a breakthrough in the energy drink subdivision track.

Highlights

This time, our packaging vision for Super Deneng is to create a brand super symbol based on refining brand equity. It builds up the exclusiveness and uniqueness of the brand by exhibiting the symbol to an extreme, forming unavoidable display memory and focalisation by the powerful visual impact. Furthermore, it fulfils the transmission of product information, improving product communication efficiency. At the same time, it considers the application needs of multiple scenarios and adds highlights to the visual identity of the packaging through colour matching with a sense of technology and a sense of health. It breaks consumers' inherent impression of energy drinks, using the visual display of fashion technology to help consumers quickly identify the product on the shelf, creating variation for the brand to stand out in its kind.
