Design Story
The Four-in-one inspiration came to us unexpected, at a music concert, we forgot to bring bottle openers, so we thought what if there’s a product that is easy to open, easy to share, without making any mess. We started brainstorming of a product that can be consumed whenever, with easy access. The Chinese bamboo actually gave us a great deal of inspiration, the bamboo has a hard outsole, but an empty center, every section is a individual space. The Chinese has a tradition of using bamboo as a container, we took that as an idea, to change the bottle into cups, designed a bottle that’s formed by four small cups that attached with one another than can also be detached. Every time when one cup is removed, the cup is being used, it’s more sustainable, and easy to share anytime, anywhere.

The product uses blow molding technique, put the moldable raw material into the molds, by blowing air into the material, the air expands the raw material and shape it into the final product.
Does the work consider sustainability (environmentally or commercially, or both)?
After using the four-in-one cup, the cup can be used to store different items, or use it as interior decoration while helping the environment. The four-in-one design has a unconventional bottle design, we use this module design, hoping it can bring more environmental conscious into people’s lives, to discover people’s attitude towards our mother nature.
