Design Story
8bit is the eight-bit machine, from the famous game console of Nintendo in the 1980s. It only has 8BIT computing chips, can only use large pixels, simple colors, and music created through the waveform synthesizer. Therefore, the subculture of 8bit was derived. Its visual language carries the simple and high-level sense of human pursuit of taste pleasure. Everything is designed to let the information reach our emotion within the shortest time. If only 0.1 second is given, we see the big Chinese characters and pixel icons. In this era where users’ attention are easily distracted, we aim for a lower cost and faster recognition with rich content. Simple colors and composition also justify that deliciousness and happiness do not need to be carried on complexity and grace.

In addition to looking different from similar products on the market, we pay attention to the sound of containers of different materials when shaking - how to enhance the auditory recognition? The aluminum bottle sounds crisp and pleasant when shaken. The small silver bottle is an original design with an ultra-wide mouth. The bottle cap is screen-printed and sealed with heat-shrinkable film. The label sticker on the bottle body adopts conventional techniques such as spot color and bronzing. The outer packaging-inflatable bag-is "fish bag”, commonly used in the fish market. It is printed by silk screen printing and accompanied by cards as the outer packaging. After being inflated, it can better avoid the bump and wear of the aluminum bottle in the delivery.
Does the design solve the problems that are common across the product category?
The same type of canned coffee beans, the bottle shapes are similar, or the capacity of storage and preservation is poor, or the cost of creating the mold is too high, or the material is not environmentally friendly, etc. As the classic packaging of RTD beverages, aluminum bottles are mature and efficient in terms of recycling. The deoxidizer in the bottle can better preserve the flavor of coffee beans than the traditional one-way exhaust valve. The bottle body pays homage to the "long neck" bottle shape commonly used in wine and glass bottle beverages. In people's subconscious, this is a classic container for flowing and delicious liquids.
