Design Story

Established in 1997, Xiduoduo is a well-known old brand in Fujian. 26 years ago, from the earliest red can packaging of sweet soup for wedding banquets, it opened up the wedding banquet market in one fell swoop. Through more than 20 years of deep cultivation, Xiduoduo has become a pioneer and leader in the Chinese coconut industry, and has also become an old brand that Fujian locals have been familiar with and have memories of since childhood. However, after 2017, enterprises fell into a bottleneck of slow growth.

So, how to leverage the image and cultural connotations of the Xishen IP. Assist in the growth of the Xiduoduo brand, awaken the inherent energy of Xiduoduo, and let the Xiduoduo brand once again flourish and return to the path of rapid growth. 280 black sugar, red date and medlar porridge products are renewed, and the process of packaging renewal is urgent.

Highlights

280 black sugar, red date and medlar porridge is significantly different from the existing porridge products on the market. Adopting 280g flat cans and large-diameter packaging to solve the problem of existing cans being too high and spoons not easy to hold the contents. Adopting a large spoon with twice the capacity and an 8.5cm can opening design. Make it more enjoyable and convenient for consumers to consume.

The new outer packaging features a festive red tone, and the large IP image on the main can label showcases the cultural connotations of joy, echoing the red can body. Unlike traditional high can packaging, low can packaging has a wider visible area on supermarket shelves, fully leveraging the role of packaging as a medium.

Craft

The can body adopts the packaging process of a three piece iron can, which has undergone high-pressure steaming. For sustainable use and natural environmental health, it is also more friendly. The entire tin can consists of three parts: the body, lid, and bottom, which are assembled together by welding. Good sealing performance, stable material, and no chemical reaction with internal materials.



After high-temperature sterilization, the three iron cans are loaded into the product material body. When the material is loaded into the tank, its own temperature will generate high-temperature steam and create a vacuum environment with the top tank cover, making it impossible for bacteria to survive inside the tank. This also lays the foundation for long-term preservation in the future.
