Design Story
The packaging adopts a simple and elegant design style, with fresh and natural colors such as millet and green to create a healthy visual experience, which fits the connotation of Chinese nourishment. In terms of packaging form, taking a single box as an example, a clay pot-shaped light food bowl + a porridge bag that can be heated is used, which is in line with mainstream eating scenarios (home, office, and outdoor). The bowl body is made of environmentally friendly materials, bamboo-based composite materials that "replace plastic with bamboo". The front of the package highlights the product name "Fresh Stewed Porridge with Fish Maw and Chicken", and uses exquisite food illustrations as the background to emphasize the golden combination of deep-sea fish maw and original Qingyuan chicken. The product story is conveyed in a concise and clear manner in the form of a story. The side of the package lists information such as ingredients, nutritional ingredients, and eating methods in detail, providing consumers with a comprehensive product introduction and enhancing trust. The overall packaging design aims to enhance the attractiveness and competitiveness of the product, so that consumers are attracted at first sight, and then have a deeper understanding and purchase the product.

We tap into local resources and select bamboo shoots from Qingyuan. We use the concept of "replacing plastic with bamboo" to replace plastic with bamboo-based composite materials. This material has been awarded a national invention patent, passed the European CE certification and German TUV Rheinland testing, is safe and non-toxic, and has obtained EU market access qualifications.
Does the design solve the problems that are common across the product category? If so, please explain.
During the design process, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the common problems of similar products in terms of logistics, display and user experience. To this end, we used a cube-shaped PVC transparent outer box, which not only provides all-round protection for the goods and ensures safety during logistics and transportation, but also highlights the product features in a regular and transparent display when displayed in the distribution channel. At the same time, by optimizing the size and structure of the outer box, the concepts of "clay pot" and "fresh stewed porridge" can be fully presented in terms of vision and user experience, solving the problems of unclear concept communication, poor display effect and poor user experience caused by insufficient packaging design of similar products.
What functional designs of the work have enhanced the user experience?
The soul of porridge lies in the clay pot. Its delicate and smooth taste is like an invisible comfort that warms people's hearts. We are well aware of this and have integrated the essence of the traditional "clay pot" and "fresh porridge" into the design. We use a transparent PVC outer box to cleverly present the texture of the clay pot, so that consumers can feel the warmth and delicacy of traditional porridge the moment they open the lid. Combined with the lazy-friendly concept, there is no need for tedious preparation, allowing consumers to easily enjoy the delicious taste that perfectly blends tradition and modernity, greatly enhancing the consumer experience.

The old bamboo shoot tubes, bamboo shoot shells and bamboos that bamboo farmers used to discard are transformed into innovative fully degradable composite materials based on renewable bamboo fiber. The new material of "replacing plastic with bamboo" has obtained a national invention patent and has passed the European CE and German TUV Rheinland testing agency certification. It is safe and non-toxic and has been approved for EU market access.
Different from traditional plastic products, these bamboo tableware uses innovative patented formula fully degradable composite materials, mainly renewable bamboo fiber raw materials. The fully biodegradable material can be naturally degraded by 93.8% in 128 days in soil and natural environment, greatly reducing the pollution caused to the environment.
