Jason Yang currently serves as Senior Director at PepsiCo Asia R&D Center, leading product development for Greater China Foods and Be&Cheery. His work focuses on expanding portfolio and driving breakthrough innovations in snack, nutrition and Be&Cheery.
These include: Lay's Taro Chips, Sweet Potato Chips, and Regional Flavor Rotation Potato Chips under the "East for East" strategy; Be&Cheery Steak Crisps and the "One Fruit" series that emphasize simplicity and natural ingredients; the Quaker “Five Nourishments” series, inspired by the traditional Chinese concept of "food as medicine"; the Lay's Rice Cracker series, which enhances rice's natural sweetness through technology innovation; and Quaker Probiotic Fermented Oats, developed via proprietary fermentation to boost oat functionality.
With two decades dedicated to Research and Development, Jason boasts a wealth of knowledge and a track record of success in the Food & Beverage industry. Prior to joining PepsiCo, he contributed his expertise at P&G and Mars.
