Dr. Jin Su holds a PhD in Food Microbiology from France's INRA. She is one of the pioneers in China focusing on the development and market promotion of fermentation strains and probiotics technology. Over the past 25 years, she has held various roles in multinational companies related to the technical application, market and business strategy development, and business management of starter cultures and probiotics.

Dr. Jin joined DuPont in 1998 and has since held significant positions, including Technical Manager at the former Rhodia China, Strain Development and Product Manager at the former Danisco China, and Product Director for the Asia-Pacific region at the former DuPont Nutrition & Health. She is currently the Vice President of Health and Biotechnology for the Asia-Pacific region at IFF, and General Manager of the Health Division for the Asia-Pacific region (covering probiotics, prebiotics, natural plant extracts, bioactive substances such as PS, HMO, etc.), while also overseeing the fermentation strains and lactase business in China.

Dr. Jin has been recognized for her contributions, being named “a Leading Talent in Professional Technologogist” by Changning District, Shanghai in 2024, and awarded titles such as the “March 8th Red-banner Holder of Kunshan City in 2007. She was also the first prize winner of the 2020 Technological Progress Award by the China Dairy Industry Association, third prize in Product Innovation by the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology in 2008, and the Annual Industry Expert by Ali Health, Tmall International, and Hot Heart Research Institute in 2022.

Additionally, Dr. Jin serves as the Vice Chairman of the Probiotics Branch of CIFST (Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology),, Deputy Director of the Lactobacillus Professional Committee of the Shanghai Society of Food Science, member of the Industrial Microbiology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Microbiology, member of the Precision Nutrition Committee of the Chinese Nutrition Society,

She is the Co-Chair of the China Strategic Development Group and Regulatory Working Group of the International Probiotics Association (IPA).

She has also edited and contributed to several significant publications, including "Probiotics and Healthy Living," "Yogurt Science and Technology," "Dairy Industry Handbook," and "Food Additives Handbook." Dr. Jin is an active participant in important national and international conferences, forums, and public education on probiotics, and has co-authored key scientific consensus and reviews on probiotics by the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology.
