Bo Hong

Dr. Bo Hong received his Ph.D. degree of biomedical engineering from Tsinghua University in 2001. From 2004 to 2005, he was a visiting faculty in the department of biomedical engineering and the center for neural engineering at Johns Hopkins University, USA. He is now a professor with Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Medicine, Tsinghua University. He is currently the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering. His research interests are brain computer interface and neural information decoding.
He has served as session chair on IEEE EMBS annual conference, session chair on Kavil Symposium on Chinese-American Frontiers of Science. He has also given invited talks at Workshop on Advances in ECoG with 2013 Society for Neuroscience Meeting, BCI workshop of NIH Neural Interface Conference 2010, and in world leading universities, including Columbia, Yale, Berkeley, Johns Hopkins and Pittsburgh University.
