Weizhi has extensive cross-functional leadership experience in both technical (SVP & CTO) and commercial roles (VP Innovation & GM), which enables him to run businesses with a strategic and holistic point of view.
Weizhi is well trained at some of the industry-leading companies such as Kraft, PepsiCo, Barilla, Dean Foods, and WhiteWave Foods with experience in branded, Private Label, as well as Food Service businesses.
Most recently, Weizhi took on a challenging and rewarding assignment to help run a Joint Venture business in China, leading company’s operations including procurement, manufacturing, food safety and quality, engineering and logistics. Weizhi also leads the Research & Development function driving company’s new product innovation.
Weizhi earned multiple degrees in Engineering, Science, and Business including a Ph.D from Kansas State University, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
