Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in technical science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich in 1993 and joined the Nestle Research Center in Lausanne Switzerland in the same year. In 2010, Dr. Wang was sent to China by Nestle to take charge of the Beijing Branch of Nestle Research Center, studying the traditional food materials with the same origin as medicine and food as well, and providing consumers with scientific and personalized nutrition and health solutions according to the needs of health management and chronic disease prevention for the middle-aged and elderly population. In early 2015, Dr. Wang was appointed General Manager of the Nestle R&D Center Shanghai LTD.. In July 2018, Dr. Wang took the responsibility of open innovation, expanding scientific innovation opportunities for Nestle Health Science Research Center in China, seeking external partners, and building and maintaining strategic partnerships with external partners. Dr. Wang joined Huangshan Greenxtract Co., Ltd. in late 2020 as Chief Technology Officer, in charge of innovative product development and technical support for partners.
