Product concept, highlights and added value

The Multigrain Paper-skinned Konjac Rice Siomai is an innovative and healthy siomai product. It features a paper-like wrapper made from a blend of grains, with konjac rice partially replacing glutinous rice in the filling. Rich in dietary fiber, it helps reduce fat, energy, and carbohydrate intake, making it a favorite among consumers.

The innovation of this siomai lies in its ingredient selection and optimized nutritional structure. The paper-like wrapper is crafted from a combination of three grains: Tibetan highland barley flour, whole wheat flour, and buckwheat flour. These grains account for over 25% of the dough in the dried wrapper, resulting in a transparent, visually appealing wrapper that also significantly increases the product's dietary fiber content. At the same time, half of the glutinous rice in the filling is replaced with konjac rice. This substitution not only reduces carbohydrate intake but also, thanks to konjac rice's low viscosity, decreases the amount of oil used, further reducing fat and energy intake.
