James Wu is the CEO and co-Founder of Aquafarmtory LTD in Suzhou. He received a B. Sc. Degree from Jinan University in Guangzhou and an MBA degree from University of Minnesota. He was senior managers of several Fortune 500 companies that operates in China He was one of the first Chinese sales people at Ingredion when he joined the company in early 1990s. He later joined Chr. Hansen as the General Manager of China division and expanded the company’s operation significantly. In 2010, he joined the Irish company Kerry Ingredient and served as the commercial director of great china, and increased their sales by more than 10-fold. He joined FrieslandCampina as the head of their Chinese Ingredient and professional BU and expanded the sales to more than 1.5 billion RMB. He is one of the most experienced expert in food, food ingredients, beverage, and milk ingredients industry. He co-started the biotech company Aquafarmtory in October 2023, bringing synthetic biology technology to revolutionize the food ingredients industry.
