Somchana Kangwarnjit graduated from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang with a degree in industrial design. In 2009, he founded Prompt Design, helping his clients to build brands and businesses by delivering new experiences in strategies and design executions. Prompt Design’s have 300 clients include Nestle, Pepsico, Tyson, Dole, Meiji, F&N  etc., and he has won more than 200 international design awards.

He is regularly invited to be a committee or jury member for international design competitions (Core77 Design Award USA, Good Design Japan, Pentawards, A'Design Award Italy, Marking Award China, World Corrugated Awards China, RTF Awards India, Basteha Iran, Muse Design Awards USA etc.) and often serves as a guest columnist, guest celebrity designer and professor for many publishers and top universities. Somchana previously held the position of president of Thai Package Design Association (ThaiPDA).
