Mr. Wang joined Fonterra in October 2007 and has nearly 20 years of experience in China’s food industry, with expertise ranging from food safety and quality, food regulation and nutrition, employee health and safety, to customs affairs and business continuity planning.

Mr. Wang is well known in the Chinese food standardisation field and the dairy industry. He is the Chairman of the Committee on Food Import and Export of the China National Food Industry Association and CoChairman of the Regulatory Affairs Committee of the China Dairy Industry Association. He has also served on a number of national standardisation committees, including the National Technical Committee 433 on Milk Products of Standardisation Administration of China, the National Technical Committee 466 on Special Dietary Foods Of Standardisation Administration Of China, the National Technical Committee 473 on Food Labelling of the Standardisation Administration of China, and the National Technical Committee 444 on Food Import and Export Inspection and Certification Systems of Standardisation Administration of China, etc.

Mr. Wang holds a Master's degree in Food Science and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. Prior to joining Fonterra, he had worked for Cadbury and Mitsubishi Corporation.
