Amy Song is the Senior Director in APAC R&D Center for The Coca-Cola Company. In this capacity, Amy is responsible for new product development for sparkling, hydration, alcoholic beverages, juice and key accounts in Asia Pacific as well as technical consumer insights and continuous development of technology platforms for core products. And she is also responsible for APAC Category innovation, innovation strategies and pipeline execution for Greater China & Mongolia Operating Unit and ASEAN & South Pacific Operating Unit.

She joined the Asia Pacific R&D Center of The Coca-Cola Company in 2001, responsible for total beverage product innovation for Greater China. She subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility including Director of Dairy and Tea R&D for APAC; Director of Dairy and Tea R&D for Global; and Director of Global R&D Strategy and Operations at Headquarters in the US from 2015-2017. With 24 years of experience in beverage innovation and R&D management, Amy, with a sharp eye for consumer and market insights, led the team to launch hundreds of new products for the global markets and developed two Billion-Dollar beverage products for The Coca-Cola Company.

Amy Song has been working in the food and beverage industry for a long time with international experience and is invited as a guest speaker in some forums or as the jury of experts in innovation events.

Before joining The Coca-Cola Company, Amy worked at the Bioengineering Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, engaged in vitamin bioengineering technology research and international cooperation, and then joined the Want Want Food Group R&D Center as R&D supervisor.

Amy holds a Master Degree in Bioengineering from Jiangnan University. She then studied at the CEIBS for GEMBA.
